YEAR END HOLIDAY PROGRAMS, TERM DATES FOR 2010 CLASSES AND CHINESE STAR (NEW PROGRAM FOR P1-P3)

We invite you to sign your children up for our upcoming year-end holiday programs! The three programs, Chinese Idioms & Proverbs, Vocabulary In Practice and Learning Through Songs and Stories continue to emphasize the key skills required to do well for oral, comprehension and composition. In teaching these language skills, we believe that by making the lessons interesting and practical, our students’ learning experience will be that much more enhanced and enjoyable!

The three programs are:

• Chinese Idioms & Proverbs 成语宝库 - 掌握成语 - 口试作文生动活泼
  (P3-P6)
  Children will have a better understanding of Chinese idioms & proverbs through stories and will learn to use better phrases and descriptions in their speech and in their writing. Designed for better composition & oral grades through mastery of common Chinese idioms and proverbs.
  
  
• Vocabulary In Practice 身临其境 - 实际运用华语 - 口试作文真实有感！
  (K2-P6)
  Through group activities and in real-life settings, children learn to express themselves and describe what they see and hear both orally and in writing - an effective and interesting way to learn. For improved fluency in the language and confidence in usage!
  
  
• Learn through Songs and Stories画板写作+歌曲认字拼音
  (K2-P2)
  Through songs and stories, children will be taught pinyin and to recognize the meaning of new words and their context. Children will also be asked to express ideas and describe objects through drawing, writing and speaking. To cultivate a strong interest in the language through active expression!
