Our Beliefs
At Chapter One, Chinese is not just a subject in school, but a personal communication skill which remains a lifelong asset. We believe that every child can be confident and fluent in Chinese.
We believe that when you learn a language, you are enlarged in your sensibilities, cultural and social awareness – as someone once put it, this is as if you have developed an extra set of ears, eyes and mouth. Being able to know and use a language is the key to unlock the door to its culture, history and community.

Teaching Approach
Our students include Nursery to Secondary 4, Chinese and non-Chinese, locals and foreigners who have different learning needs. We look at each student as a unique individual with his or her own potential and pace of learning.
Our teachers seek to understand and care for each student as an individual, encourage him or her to learn and discover his or her own potential. We want to maximize this potential even as he or she enjoys the fun of learning and interaction. We seek to present and teach in lively ways to make learning Chinese fun.
